Susan started life as an inquisitive kid born into a large family in Chicago. Her parents’ deep faith instilled a sense of mystery and wonder, which set her on the path as a seeker in her early 20’s. She began a kundalini yoga and meditation practice in 1994, soon after the birth of her first child when she was looking for ways to find balance with a new business, husband, and baby. Yoga and meditation enriched her experience of the Divine so much that it led her to complete Teacher Training in 2001. Susan received a Graduate Certification in Spiritual Direction from the Haden Institute, with a focus on dreamwork and mystical Christianity from a Jungian approach, January 2012.
Susan considers herself a contemplative Catholic-yogini and has a deep reverence for the roots of the Church as well as respect for other faith traditions, and the health of our planet. She recognizes many pathways to the Holy. She is a proud parent of three young adults. In 2023 Susan, her husband of over 30 years, and their mischievous dog Luna moved from Chicago to Encinitas, CA – just North of San Diego. They are delighted to be starting a new chapter of their lives in sunny Southern California.
